Discussion: What are you most looking forward to in tech?
Well, the sticky, shvitzy days of August are upon us. We've passed the mid-year hump and trudge our way towards the upcoming holiday season. This year, we have some nice surprises to look forward to as some of giants of the tech world pull back the curtain on several of the most highly anticipated new developments in the world of technology.
From Redmond, WA, Microsoft brings us the new generation of Windows for servers, end-users, and mobile devices (i.e. Server 2012, Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8, respectively).
From Cupertino, the (fill in the blank because no one knows for sure what it will be yet) will be unveiled as the newest addition to the (2nd*) family of iOS devices (*Hint: the first family of devices having an operating system named IOS belongs to Cisco).
From Mountain View, everyone's favorite little green humanoid robot is already starting to roll out its next-gen platform, deliciously named Jellybean, with the bulk of new devices that have this latest version built in still yet to arrive (though most aim to be out by the holiday shopping season). In addition to this latest version of Android OS, there are various other technology tidbits that our friends at the GOOG will be unleashing between now and the (predicted) Mayan Apocalypse.
And those are just the major releases from the big three Operating System vendors. The holidays usually bring with them a whole slew of other new technological developments and products from all sorts of other sources.
So, what upcoming release from the technology world gets you grinning?...

Mission
The Academy’s mission is to provide students with first-class education, actual hands-on experience, and a unique, personalized “student experience.” Our goal is to ensure that each student obtains the proper tools needed to begin a career in the Information Technology field.
Description
The Academy was originally founded with a vision of helping others to become successful working with computers. The goal was to give the students the proper training and assist them to stand out in the IT industry.
The school continues forward today with one basic principle – to help individual students get a high-quality computer education at an affordable price. Former students who have graduated from The Academy's programs have been able to leave with the skills and knowledge to be competitive in today’s job market.
Historically, the school’s focus has been toward the adult learner who desires to change careers and is looking for a school that can accommodate their special needs. The training strategy has been and is to teach these “career changers” the basics of networking and PC repair before they go on to Microsoft and/or Cisco courses. By approaching training in this manner, the Academy ensures that the student has a solid foundation in the networking field and thus apply what they are learning to an actual network.
In the time since the school’s inception, the school’s individualized approach to learning has allowed many of the students to achieve both their career goal and the goal of The Academy for its graduates – success in the IT industry.
"The Academy is a private post-secondary institution dedicated to providing quality education designed to prepare students for specific professional fields. The curriculum prepares students for employment within their chosen disciplines by developing new skills, expanding their knowledge base, and awakening new intellectual interests. The Academy strives in all its activities to provide an atmosphere that fosters professional and personal development, academic achievement, and social interaction"
